At the August 22, 2022 school board meeting, the Board passed the first policies of their kind in the nation to protect the hearts and minds of all GCISD children. The passing of these policies marked the end of the local "culture war." Now it's time for all eyes to focus on Academics.

OUR STORY

GCISD Parents was officially established in 2020 by 5 GCISD families concerned about our schools. Since that time, our membership has grown to over 1,000 local individuals with a shared passion for our district and community.

We recognize and respect the importance of the family unit, and firmly believe that parents should be the primary influencers on the values of their own children. To facilitate that, we've actively engaged with teachers and administrators since our inception, and will continue to do so into the foreseeable future.

Our diverse membership includes parents, teachers, community members, and GCISD employees from across the spectrum. As one, committed voice, we want to restore a culture of hope, courage, and joy within the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District and eliminate fear of retaliation or cancellation from the mind of anyone in our community.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to get a great education in a healthy learning environment, and it's our goal to make that happen.
