The Texas community has a long road ahead of it. Supporting our children's education is now more than a full-time job. It's going to take teams of dedicated parents, grandparents, community members, non-profit organizations, local clubs, business owners, political action groups, and every grassroots group in the state to return the focus of our schools toward education.
Staying united against a common enemy is easy; staying united for a common good is hard. Small differences of opinion on some topics can seem insurmountable if there isn't one, larger purpose that everyone can get behind.
GCISD Parents believes that the common purpose to unite us is supporting the education of Texas kids, and especially the kids in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.
While allowing for nuance and difference of opinion on the small things, GCISD Parents wishes to acknowledge the groups below as truly dedicated to improving the educational outcomes of all Texas children, just like we are.
