GCISD Parents support our kids, their schools, and our community!

One of the best ways to stay informed about what's going on in GCISD is to attend the monthly Board of Trustee meetings. Community members are given the opportunity for public comment at each of these meetings. GCISD Parents have volunteered to speak on topics of concern and mutual interest with the district since our founding in 2020.

This summer of 2022, the GCISD Parents community donated 100 backpacks to disadvantaged students in GCISD through the CONNECT program. Follow the link to see how you can help more!

Each year our administration offers parents an opportunity to give input on what our students learn. We are truly grateful that administrators have offered an unprecedented level of transparency with this process. Naturally, we are happy to step up each time to help!

Our parents are some of the most involved in GCISD, and our district has many needs. Simple and timely in-kind donations, like multiple 40-count cases of water bottles, are all it takes to make a difference. That's why our parents donate regularly to both classroom-level  and district-level needs, plus endless donation opportunities for our multiple clubs and activities!

Our kids want to be involved in all of the fabulous extra-curricular activities our district has to offer, and band is no exception! As many of you know, a large part of the band budget derives from concessions. That's why our dedicated band parents team up to help with concessions whenever needed! 

One of best well-known non-profits in GCISD is GRACE. Our families and community members give freely of their time at the  "Donation Station" and "Food Pantry" to assist those in need. This is a great opportunity to teach children how to give back to the community they love!
